H'wood hair chameleons
Some stars are hitting the (dye) bottle, others are chopping it off. Check out the range of looks for these celebrity hair chameleons ... Katy Perry is lightening up for the holidays. After months of hair-dye experimentation, the 'California Gurls' singer debuted a chic new bob. Perry traded the bright pink locks she's been sporting for a short, blond 'do with soft lavender highlights. Within the past year, Perry, a natural blond, has become a hair chameleon. In June, she began to make her drastic transformation by changing the jet-black hair she wore for most of her career to red, a color she said resulted from a botched dye job

Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame taps Beastie Boys, Guns N Roses, Laura Nyro and Red Hot Chili Peppers for newest class
Two classic voices of New York music will take their place in the Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame this year.
They include The Beastie Boys, who brought a rock-tinged, snot-nosed, Lower East Side, sensibility to Bronx hip-hop, helping it cross-over to the mainstream in the '80s.
Then there's Laura Nyro, who employed an unprecedented mix of Spanish Harlem soul and Broadway sophistication to create some of the most indelible pop songs of the '60s, from "Wedding Bell Blues" to "Stoney End."
At the same time, Hall voters honored two prime examples of California guitar-music: Guns N Roses, who turned gritty, Sunset Strip-centric heavy metal into a world wide phenomena, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, who matched L.A. pan-sexuality to a newly muscular brand of funk and rock.
The HOF made a significant nod to the U.K. as well for 2012, ushering in Donovan, the first poster child for English flower power who also provided a key link between the early ’60s British folk revival and the decade's later advances into psychedelia.
The final inductee for 2012 also epitomizes British music, but in two key guises — the classic mod-era group Small Faces and that band’s later incarnation as The Faces.
The earlier “Small” group featured soulful lead singer Steve Marriott, while the latter Faces coalesced around an ever better-known, scratchy-voiced frontman: Rod Stewart.
The class of 2012 will also boast blues guitarist Freddie King (in the category of “Early Influences”), and impresario Don Kirshner (in the non-performer slot). In the category of “musical excellence,” the hall will induct engineer supreme Tom Dowd (best known for his soulful Atlantic recordings of the late ’60s), New Orleans R&B engineer Cosimo Matassa and classic-rock producer Glyn Johns, who oversaw iconic works from “Who’s Next” to The Stones’ “Sticky Fingers.”
Artists nominated this year who got left out in the cold, include The Cure, Eric B. & Rakim, Heart, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Rufus with Chaka Khan, Donna Summer, The Spinners and War.
The latest list of inductees shows a marked bent towards rock of a more recent era. Guns N Roses get in with their very first nomination, the Chili Peppers with their second. Artists have to have a discography dating back 25 years to be eligible.
The induction ceremony April 14 will be in Cleveland, just the third time this 27-year-old event has taken place in the museum's home city instead of New York.

Ultimate Sales Letters
The Problems With
Writing Sales Letters...
For marketers who hate to write, spending hours putting together sales letters from scratch is torture!
The problem is that writing a sales letter is hard.
It takes time and the copy need to be great to get people to take action.
Nothing stops sales dead in it's tracks faster than poorly written sales letters.
Your sales letter is your digital salesman and if it does a terrible job, you can say goodbye to any chances of you making even $1 online.
Whether you want your website visitor to opt in to your newsletter or make a purchase, it all depends on how well your sales letter 'sells'.
If you're like me then you probably dread the idea of starting out to create a new sales letter from scratch, or craft a web page to sell your product on the Internet.
So What's A Lazy
Marketer To Do?

So What's A Lazy
Marketer To Do?
Okay... so now we both know that you need a great sales letter on your website if you want to convert a great number of visitors into sales.
You have 3 options:
Option #1. - Hire a Professional Copywriter
Professional copywriters are very expensive but in many cases this is the best option - if you can afford it! Copywriter fees vary from $497 to $25,000+. You're almost guaranteed a successful sales letter by hiring a top gun copywriter but if you're just starting out, the 5 figure price tag puts this option out of reach.
Option #2. - Write Your Own Sales Letter From Scratch
Unless you are a highly skilled copywriter, chances are that you'll end up creating a Frankenstein which doesn't convert. It's perhaps the cheapest option but if you're a terrible copywriter or hate writing, it won't be worth your time and effort. Not recommended at all.
Option #3. - 'Cheat' With Push-Button Software
You can legally cheat and create great looking sales letters every time by cleverly using software that makes it a breeze to put them together in literally minutes!
Sales Letters Creator is the perfect example of this kind of software. You won't find a better quality application of its kind...especially one this affordable! This is the best option for lazy marketers who don't want to pay a copywriter or have no writing talent or time to write.

Auction Profit Machine EBay
I can tell you in one sentence how to make a lot of money on eBay®.....
Find out what people desperately want and give it to them!
That's it. End of story.
In fact, you're going to discover that making huge sums of money on eBay® is a lot easier than you think and it can happen faster than you can imagine. Just by reading this letter, you'll know more than 99% of the sellers trying to make a living on eBay® and you'll have a simple formula to auction riches that works virtually every single time.
Here's the story: My name is Jeff Johnson and in the past couple of years I've quietly cracked the code on how to earn a high income on eBay® with the least amount of work possible. You see, when I found out that over 800,000 people earn their living working from home selling items on eBay®, I became obsessed to find out how. What I discovered shocked and amazed me and I think it will astound you too.
"Here's The Real Secret To Why eBay® Can Make You A Fortune"
Everyday like clockwork, 2 million people sit in front of their computer, go online and visit eBay. Over 147 million people are members of eBay®. And every second, eBay® processes over $1,000 in sales. If you do the math, it adds up to $86,4000,000 per day, 365 days per year.
If that doesn't get your greed glands going, nothing will.
Simply put, eBay® is a sales machine! There's no other place online where you can put up an auction, for less than a dollar in many cases, and have hundreds of eyeballs glued to their computer monitor waiting to buy what you're selling.
You know exactly what I'm talking about if you've ever gone into your garage or basement and picked up an item that's just collecting dust. You know in your heart that no one in their right mind would ever pay you more than a couple of dollars for that old piece of junk, but you put it up for sale anyway.
And then it happens.
In the closing seconds of your auction, you watch in amazement as that old piece of junk that you thought no one wants, sells for twice, three times, even ten times the amount of money you thought it would go for. Once you go through that experience one time....
You're Hooked!
You start trying to sell everything in your house or apartment that isn't bolted down to the floor. After you run out of things to sell in your house, you go to garage sales or flea markets. You buy an item at a garage sale for about $20 bucks. Take a nice picture of it, put it up on eBay® and sell it for say $50 bucks. Congratulations! You've just made $30. You start having visions of running your own little business from home selling items on eBay® and finally breaking free from that J-O-B. Then reality smacks you right in the face and for most people, that's where the dream dies.
Why?
Well let me ask you a question....
Are you going to be able to find bargain items at garage sales or flea markets every single week? Maybe, maybe not. You and I both know that the answer is probably no. Even if you could, how much time is it going to take you to constantly find new things you can sell on eBay®? Do you have the patience to drive around town all weekend looking for bargains? I sure as hell don't.
And once you don't have items to sell on eBay®, the cash flow comes to a screeching halt.
"The Big Decision That Can Make Or Break Your eBay® Business!"
Now you have 2 choices, you can either quit or find some wholesale suppliers to supply you with goods to sell on eBay®. I can tell you right now, most people will simply quit. Of course, you don't want to be like most people. You don't want to quit or you'll be stuck working at a job for the rest of your life. So you do what other aspiring sellers do, you go on the hunt for wholesale suppliers. And believe me, they are out there. You may have already found a few.
But here's the problem you're going to run into.
You see, the wholesalers have caught on to the eBay® game and they now have people on their staff creating auctions. A couple of years ago, you really could buy items for 10 or 20 cents on the dollar and sell them for a fat profit. Not everyone knew about eBay®. Now, the same wholesale suppliers that you would buy from in the past are secretly competing against you. Who do you think is going to win that game?
And to top it all off, even if you do find reliable wholesale suppliers, do you think you're the only person they are selling to? No way in hell! Your competition is buying from these same suppliers too. So now, you both go head to head on eBay® selling the exact same item. The lowest price gets the sell. You continue to slash your price until your profit margin dries up and you get pushed out of business.
There has to be a better way.
Well, I'm thrilled to tell you that there is a better way. An unbelievable way! And I stumbled across it while I was looking for something else....
Find out what people desperately want and give it to them!
That's it. End of story.

Your Own eBook Business
I first came across John Thornhill in 2005 on eBay. I'd been a successful eBay seller and PowerSeller for a few years selling physical items - (actually, whilst writing this I have just checked and I joined eBay on 24.11.01 which is exactly to the day a year earlier than John on 24.11.02 - how bizarre is that?) - anyway, I digress...
I remember that a strange PowerSeller symbol had appeared next to my eBay ID and I wondered what the heck it was and why I had it, so I mistakenly entered `PowerSeller' into the wrong search box (the product one instead of the Help one) and, hey presto, up popped John's 90-Day PowerSeller Challenge eBook (note the significance of a good eBay title for those not necessarily looking in the `Everything Else > Information Products' section). I bought his eBook for 0.99, I think it was, and after reading it in total fascination, I clicked the link to purchase John's `Your Own eBook Business' package.
I was excited to discover not only a great looking eBook website and 100s of eBooks at my disposal, but also an amazing private forum. Looking back now, that forum was only two months old and I was the 162nd person to join and what a total revelation it was. Loads of people offering advice and tips - perfect for someone that felt a total newbie and didn't know what the heck she was doing.
The thing that struck me most, though, was that EVERYONE was learning, even those who joined just two months before on the first day of opening the forum `doors' - including John. Of course, everyone knew that John was the `boss' but he was always there, answering questions, giving tips and even asking questions himself and asking for help. That's one of the many reasons why I had and still have total respect for him - I never got the impression that he was `keeping anything to himself'. Everything was laid bare - he would tell us exactly how he did things, discuss ideas or half ideas he had, ask us questions about our on-line problems, try to solve them - and even told us about any blunders or `cock-ups' he'd made. He was, and still is, totally approachable and always willing to help with anything you may ask him.
When it came to creating my first information product, John was always there with constructive advice and I was delighted that he started to list it on eBay in his own store and still does. In fact every product I have created since has always been sent to John for review and for his opinion, and I've been lucky enough to have him promote them for me, which anyone who has had a product actively promoted by John will know is a terrific boost, both to one's confidence and, of course, financially.
I've always found John a wise, calm, fair and genuine person who has helped me out from such little things as `help, I don't think I've set this $7 script up correctly, what did I do wrong?' To advising me how I could better set up a backend to a particular product. He's even contacted me out of the blue to ask me how I'm getting on with a project and offering to help in any way he can - reminding me that he's there.
Because John is so successful, it's easy to think that he won't have time to answer your questions or to help you, indeed it would be easy to think that small things that you are having a problem with would be too petty to bother him with. However, this is totally not the case.
One of the most admirable things about John is that he hasn't suddenly got `too big for his boots' - he's not turned into some high-fallutin' guru who's too precious to remember that he was once, not so very long ago, dabbling part-time in IM and holding down a mind-numbing factory job. He can actually remember what it was like when he was first trying to get to grips with creating a website from scratch, uploading items to his webspace, installing autodelivery scripts, struggling to create his own product and starting out building his mailing list.
If he can't help you get a successful online business up and running, then no-one can. If I had to do it all over again, I would've bought the 90-day PowerSeller eBook the first day he listed it on eBay - I definitely wasted a few months!

Sure the "Simple Profit Formula" sounds simple, but I found out the hard way, along time ago, that it's easier said than done..
Until now!
